Review on Neoera Magnetic Ultra Short Stainless Anti Rust by Savanna Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hydraulic & extra short

Short description: I've been using magnetic door latches for a while and love them except the door bounces off the stopper if closed too quickly. VINE has previously reviewed NEOERA's hydraulic offering, so I'm going to compare it to these ultra-short two-piece kits. Observations: The very first hydraulic shock I reviewed was the NEOERA. To be honest I was a bit doubtful that they would work. One area where you might want an ultra-short hydraulic system rather than a taller (longer) system is in the bathroom, where space is at a premium and an extra 1/2-1 inch of door opening can make a world of difference. Because bathroom doors are narrower, they are also much lighter, so they don't need hydraulic damping compared to a heavy solid core entry door. Recommendations: 1) Install the big side first, then remove the spring from the small side and just install the cap to align the smaller side with the larger side. 2) For drywall, make sure you use good quality anchors (not included). Pros: good fit and finish; strong magnet; includes the necessary equipment. Cons: none yet. Verdict: $14 for 2 packs, rating this 5 stars. I can also recommend the lower NEOERA for a few bucks more, which I gave 5 stars for the better (smoother) hydraulic damper mechanism (see attached video in this review). ://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CXMJLSQ
