I have found them to be very effective in removing my long haired cat's hair from clothes, pillows, chairs, etc. Relatively easy to go the "wrong way". " and dip any hairs from the brush back onto the cloth at random. So look out for the little arrows on the handles that tell you which way to go. I find stretching the cloth easier Applying pressure and using short strokes helps get it all in. These brushes are also conveniently reversible. To get the hair out of the comb, I just comb it down with my fingers and it clumps up and falls off.
