I usually buy this product from the store and I have to say that this is absolutely the best lip product I have ever used: hygienic lipstick, Carmex, Maybebelline baby lips, Burt's Bees, these are all great products I still use when I have them but none of them do what this stuff does. I've read quite a bit about chapped lips because I seem to suffer from chronic chapped lips unless I apply some on a daily basis. I've read that many dermatologists agree that cream-based lip protectors are better than solid ones, and Aquaphor won me over in that regard. There's only one that comes close and that's petroleum jelly, but it doesn't heal since it's an oil-based product, meaning it doesn't hydrate, just holds in all the moisture that's already on your lips. But this material actually adds moisture and softens your lips.
