Natural, warm and relaxed sounding headphone amp. If you replace the stock bulb with a better one or NOS, it will sound amazing. The standard handset sounds good. Level of detail, resolution, stage width and depth are about average. Pretty good output for basic to mid-level headphones. This is a hybrid design with a lamp in the pre-stage and a solid-state output stage. Overall a nice little case with good sound quality. If you're looking for hyper detail and soundstage, there's a better choice. If you just want a great sounding headphone amp, this is great stuff.
