After initially using them I immediately gave them a star because they just didn't work with my turntable. After doing a little research, I found that if you walk towards the preamp, the distance shouldn't exceed a meter. Due to the low output signal, it quickly deteriorates and does not work. Came to find out why they don't work with my receiver. When I switched to the built in preamp and used a different input on my receiver they worked flawlessly. I'm still rating it 3 stars because theoretically a higher quality cable should work. If you're buying these for a turntable make sure you have a built in preamp otherwise I wouldn't recommend buying these cables. Because there is a high probability that they will not work for you either.
