I have a 38.1 lb Samsung 60 TV that I bought it for. For the most part, that's exactly what I wanted. The original Samsung stand sets the TV very low, so I wanted something that would elevate it a bit higher and make it easier to turn the TV from side to side. This stand nailed both of the major things I wanted, but I'm a little concerned because as soon as I place the TV on the sand, you'll definitely see two horizontal slats tilted down from the weight. These horizontal bars are actually 4 half bars, two of which have male inserts to fit into the other two corresponding bars. The male to female fit isn't particularly tight, and I think that's what accounts for the downward loading on the bars. If they were made a little narrower, you probably wouldn't see that downward angle. I don't think it's going to break or anything, but it can definitely be improved. I'll try to take a picture later to show what I mean.
