I upgraded my 2011 Clevo P170HM 17 inch gaming laptop. It only has one SATA connector. This was the most obvious and noticeable performance boost! Maximizing the processor to Intel Core i7 2960XM; Upgrade to Nvidia GeForce GTX 680M (the latest this old machine could accept); from 4GB RAM to 32GB system RAM and from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I really didn't see any performance increase after the upgrade. Don't get me wrong, I'm very confident that the performance potential has actually increased (I've never done before and after testing). Suffice it to say that the most notable and relatively inexpensive upgrade (no testing required) was the move from HDD to SSD! The best upgrade is a good SSD Boot time has been reduced from 3 minutes+ to less than 30 seconds. Do not lie! Programs open much faster. The system appears to be more responsive and faster overall. You can't go wrong with this product. The most surprising thing about all of this is the fact that SSD technology has improved into even faster drives than this one, but this one is light years ahead of the old spinning hard drive. Two thumbs up from me!
