The first one I received didn't work at all. It was a birthday present for a friend so I had to find a replacement quickly. The replacement was fine for a while. No party music is played throughout the house. It's just not that powerful. But for occasional use I found it ok. NOT CORRECT. I kept it in a safe place, unused for about 8 months. I figured it out, and now the speed is completely screwed up (it slows down if you put a needle on it), and apparently the needle doesn't even play with the sound coming out of the speakers. I have no idea what happened and I don't care. I'm so angry because I can't get a refund now. It's a piece of shit. Don't waste money. I wish I had listened to the 1 star reviews before purchasing.
