They are decent enough but the fabric at the top may come loose. Cheap and I consider these disposables. It's embarrassing, but that's the way it is. However, they are quite suitable for thick hair. I use them to tie my long hair in a bun and they are comfortable enough to wear all day. There are enough of them in the package, and the few that unravel are not of much concern.
