I bought these two poufs to add ottomans and/or extra seating to my desert/mid-century living room. They look much more luxurious than what is advertised in the price! However, if you want them to be firmer so they don't sag under the weight of the legs or body, then a fair amount of filler is needed. I used 2 bags of shredded memory foam and added 2 standard bed pillows to help it hold its shape better. The second I only fill with pillows for the bed - 5 "super-hard" standard pillows. I'm glad the leather case was inexpensive, looked great and was perfect for my needs because it took longer than I expected to fill up. Although I would definitely buy them again.
