Review on Klein Tools AEPJS1 Wireless Speaker for Jobsite, Portable Audio Player & Hands-Free Calls, Durable Worksite Use by John Hall

Loud and durable, with a great magnet that attaches to almost any metal object!

I was delighted to find this bluetooth speaker. It was exactly what I was looking for. I have a challenging work environment as I work in the delivery and collection business. I wanted a compact speaker that is loud and magnetic. That's great! I ALWAYS alternate seat loaders, order pickers and standing loaders. Sometimes I work in places that don't require lifting equipment and put things away by hand. This speaker is great for all of these uses because I can just glue the metal anywhere! I usually carry my phone in my breast pocket. I walked about 30 feet from the speaker before it cut out. The sound is also very cool. He can stick to anything that suits your imagination in the world of music. I personally listen to a lot of new wave, disco, EDM, alternative rock, classic rock, hard rock, 80's, 90's and blah blah blah. It was a pleasure to have and use this speaker. I've used it for two full days since I received it and haven't charged it yet. It has an auto shut off if I'm away from the device for too long and my phone is out of range. It will also shut down when it senses no activity. Connecting to the phone was easy. It rained a bit and seems to be holding up well. I haven't used it on the phone yet, so I can't give you any idea of the quality in that regard. I've attached pictures so you can see how I use it in my specific work environment. The magnetic back is pretty solid. When I work in our open maintenance yard, it's bumpy because the terrain is uneven. I get knocked over in a forklift seat. But this little speaker just keeps going and keeps rocking, dear reader. The only complaint I have (and this isn't really a complaint, it's a suggestion to the manufacturer) is the outer casing. Although solid, the orange color you see around the device is hard plastic. I thought it might be some pretty hard silicone that the device might penetrate if dropped. I'm sure the plastic protects it well. It just seems that silicone could be a better means of protection in harsher work environments. But honestly it was a solid little speaker with great sound, connectivity and durability. I would recommend this column to anyone working in an active work environment. Or ANY medium with a piece of metal you can glue it to!
