Very disappointed. This is a nice little preamp. I liked it because it looks like a headphone amp I own and I was planning on using them together. Unfortunately, this thing makes an awful buzz when you turn it on. The volume slider doesn't seem to affect the volume of your music much, but it does adjust the amount of awful buzz you get from the audio. Tried multiple sources, cables, and even two different amps. It's frankly inappropriate. I'm not sure if this is due to the power adapter that came with it or just a faulty product, but I think I'll be sending it back.
