Review on ASTRO Gaming A10 Gaming Headset - Blue | PlayStation 4 Headset by Matthew Fleming

I was unable to get the mic to work by using the headset on two different consoles, PS4 and PS4 Pro, and three Tried different controllers. If you read online some people have had this problem but used the wrong end of the cable. Changing cables didn't work for me. I can use other 3.5mm headsets with these systems and controllers. It looks like the 3.5mm connector that connects to the controllers needs some work.
