Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhance Your Gaming Experience with Circle Pad Pro - Nintendo 3DS LL Accessory (Imported from Japan, Does Not Include 3DS LL Console) by John Cox

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Circle Pad Nintendo 3DS XL Pro. Feels flimsy and cheap but does what it does well. Dodgy buttons at shoulders.

The Circle Pad Pro works well, but it's very bulky in terms of size and durability, and the build quality is questionable given the part is mostly plastic. This accessory blocks the 3DS XL cartridge slot, so you need to detach the 3DS XL from the Circle Pad Pro when you want to change cartridges. The Circle Pad Pro requires one AAA battery. You install the battery by loosening the screw on the Circle Pad Pro with a coin or pan head screw. Your 3DS XL usually covers this screw. Don't worry about the screw scratching your 3DS XL, it is flush inside and never protrudes to scratch the back of your 3DS XL. The Circle Pad Pro's right circle pad is almost identical to the 3DS XL's left circle pad. Shoulder buttons have a softer, spongy feel than regular shoulder buttons and are an unusual size. They are generally not very comfortable for the touch keys. When you insert the 3DS XL into the Circle Pad Pro accessory, it snaps easily, but doesn't feel stable at times. There's a small gap between the 3DS XL and the Circle Pad Pro accessory that looks and feels odd when in use, which is a bit concerning. The 3DS XL never falls out of its seat, but never feels firmly attached to the Circle Pad Pro. Appearance and Ergonomics: 7/10 Big and chunky. While it's designed to feel comfortable in your hands, it doesn't feel very comfortable. 3DS XL sometimes does not fit completely. Durability: 6/10 Made from plastic and looks very thin and light although it looks quite big and bulky. Battery Life: 10/10 Does it have a battery? Yes. Once you put the battery in, you might forget it even exists. I've been using the same battery for over 2 years and have never had to change it and haven't noticed any input lag or anything. Reliability: 8/10. He does what he does well. I've never skipped typing when playing games that require the Circle Pad Pro like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Resident Evil Revelations. The right round pad responds quite well and aims well. Feels MUCH better than the new 3DS right nipple which is stiff and has no travel. Overall: 6.5/10. It exists for games that are better played with the extra round pad, but you're stuck with the 3DS XL, not the new 3DS, which includes a pacifier. In my opinion the right round Circle Pad Pro feels much better than the new 3DS solution which is a hard circle for the right nipple.
