What my wife liked about this pillow is that it has a cover that is easily washed. The problem she had was that I was too furry. It's pretty soft but too bulky. As for the model sleeping with him in the picture, the exact pose didn't seem workable with the actual product so basically your neck/head can't rest as advertised - at least. from our experience with the product. But it might work for you!
