Review on 💪 High-Pressure Grease Gun Pistol Grip with Extra-Long 27 inch Flex Hose - Voltstorm 7000 PSI Heavy Duty by Matthew Ciula

I'm generous and give 4 stars because I just don't know if I've experienced pilot error or not. This SHOWS a great grease gun - very durable and well built. I was surprised it didn't cost twice as much. BUT. I had a terrible time getting lube to flow when I put in my first lube cartridge. I must have pumped it 200 times and nothing moved. I unscrewed the valve and there was grease. I tried it upside down and backwards trying to make sure there wasn't a large air pocket. Does not look like it. I have a small HF grease gun that uses small 3 ounce cartridges. It's not that good but never gave me any problems - it started straight away. The T-bar/piston was not behaving as expected. I assumed it would work like a caulking gun, with a rod and piston constantly applying pressure as you squeeze the handle, but no, it just slides in and out freely (as long as the bolt is pressed), so I am not sure what the heck does it do? I wish Revane wouldn't get rid of the ability to leave comments - maybe someone will explain to me how this plunger works because it doesn't make sense. In any case, due to some sort of magical voodoo sequence of events, the grease suddenly began to leak. Once I got it working it worked great - smooth and easy. It seemed like a 5 star product at the time if I didn't have the initial disappointment. I had some difficulty separating the fitting from the plug but when I came back with the pliers to help me it popped right out - maybe it was still holding the pressure dissipating while I was gone a minute so what at the moment I'm not sure what to think. Great quality for the price and when I did it was great. I'm just not at all sure I'll be able to get it up and running again quickly the next time I need to change cartridges. I had a 2 star experience with an item that looked like it was meant to be amazing. So the next time I can change cartridges, I'll trust my intuition and give it a 4. Oh, and the instructions suck.
