I'm short on space in my kitchen and I have three separate appliances, a blender, a blender and a large hand grinder and I wanted to replace all three with one appliance. I've looked at many, but found this one, with exactly three items I wanted to replace, and couldn't believe my eyes. I've never seen a blender plugged into a blender and just had to try it. Right from the start everything about this blender is high quality for heavy use. The blender has a large motor, large bowl and very well made attachments. There is nothing cheap here. The attachments are very easy to assemble and disassemble and once attached they stay in place for even the most difficult of mixing. One thing though, the splash guard seals so well when going down while my other one always had gaps and I was amazed at how well it keeps everything clean in the mixing bowl. The other thing is that everything here uses the motor speed selector and has these six speeds and they all have a very good speed boost too. The blender snaps into place and is made of very thick glass. When I turn on sixth speed, it can turn my pieces of fruit into liquid. cool Another feature of the blender is that not only does the lid pop out, but the base unscrews (counter-clockwise) where the blades come out for easy cleaning, which isn't the case with my other blender. Now the meat grinder is a big upgrade for me where my old one was manual. The meat grinds evenly and quickly. I work a lot with the veal and lamp and I can tell you it's really a lot of fun to use, it runs so smoothly I don't want to stop. The meat grinder is very easy to disassemble and wash. Plates, knives and gears are removed by unscrewing the front handle and simply thrown in the dishwasher. It's as simple as I just toss everything (except the blender) in the dishwasher and as long as it doesn't hurt, no stain goes unnoticed. No cons, this is the best multifunction device I've seen and I'm very happy with the purchase.
