Like every PC motherboard since time immemorial - you will have problems with obsolete (old) stuff running on new technology. So be careful with the components you choose in this very power hungry setup. I don't have any hardware issues - but I don't have anything older than three years (except the PSU and the AIO cooler). Please note, if you want to add AIO cooling solution, you'd better bring the solution with you. Meaning: You need to make sure your mounts fit into the very awkward rear of the CPU. I had to screw in a few screws and put together tiny washers to get the cooler to fit (BAD ASUS). ASUS, please stop shipping these motherboards with 2003 INTEL water cooler holes. The clip-on suspenders thing is dated (period). The X299 boards have built in screw mounts which will probably add $5 to the total price which I am happy to pay before shipping. Overall: A beautiful PCB with great features between the new INTEL 11th Gen and the Samsung 980 Pro. It's new - so I'll have to come back later for an update. (Make sure you have at least a 750w PSU or the board won't work). Update the BIOS as needed, especially if you have newer hardware.
