I bought this while redecorating our house. There is no right angle in the house and I had a 2 inch mahogany that could be used for a stove in the corner. I didn't want to try and fail with the angle so I bought it and it worked like a charm. Aside from that, the "lock" function doesn't lock the angle, it just keeps the angle value on the screen. Maybe it's my misunderstanding, but I thought it would lock your hands so you can put them on your saw and adjust to it can it. Not this case. Anyway, I'm very glad I bought it and used it in this room.
