I bought and installed a vinyl covering about a year and a half ago and after six months all the windows in the house were replaced and I was able to reuse the vinyl with no problem. Definitely want to follow the instructions. Be sure to wash the windows with a product that leaves no residue. If you clean it with Windex, wipe it with a lint-free cloth dampened with water. Do not clean it with a paper towel as many small paper towel particles will stick to your window. I also recommend buying a vinyl scraper to make the job a lot easier and to look professional. I also used a ruler and tape measure. Measure twice, cut once. Take your time and do the job right and you won't have blistering or peeling.
