This is a very durable router. You've seen comparisons online and you've probably wondered how it can be so much cheaper than others. Don't be fooled by naysayers who try to portray non-premium brands like this as inferior. This Vermont American cutter is not a low quality product. I used it for an outdoor project (deck railing rounding) and it worked like a charm. Of course, the wood I milled is soft, so I can't speak to its performance with, say, Brazilian cherry. But I was very happy with this purchase considering the alternative was about four times the price.
