If I could improve this I would make the dust pan a little deeper because it is very shallow and you have to be very careful when sweeping. The mini-oxo is better in this regard because it has a lid on top to keep the dust from flying out. I would also like a hole so I can hang it up. But other than that, it picks up fine dust very well, and the scraper works as long as you vigorously scrape away dirt with the brush. Don't try to scrape it into the trash can yourself or you might drop everything on the floor. It's not as magical as the infomercial, but it's good quality and it really works.
