Ideal for babies from 9 months.
My nephew will be 9 months old when he gets this present for Christmas. This is the perfect age for this toy. The carpet is soft and the cars are soft. The machines are large, making them easy for young hands to grasp. He will be too young to figure out how to use the cars on the playmat, but he will learn as he grows with the toy. I think the playmat could be bigger considering how big the cars are, but it would be the perfect size for him.
