Bought for my mechanic son. After a while it finally worked (I think you need to update it first). He could finally use it for his truck and car. Then they took it to their friends and tried it on their cars. He came to say everything is fine. Using a scanner, they found out they wanted to work with vehicles. The downside is that you can't take the scanner and go to the dealership. It must be connected to receive the codes. This was a bit of an issue as it wasn't safe to drive a car and they had to write down all the codes.
