Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Xbox 360 Armored Core V by Randy Albright

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I'll try not to be biased,

I've been playing Armed Core since Armored Core 4. But be careful if you're not into mechs or tech. You will not like this game at all. This game requires an understanding of some level of logic and creativity, it will challenge you if you are patient enough - and by the way, I'm glad you will be very rewarded. Small warning but unlike other games this is more clan/team based. So if your team sucks, you're probably going to hate being part of a clan, or you can just make your own and throw KOA out of their home base - ha, I wonder if anyone gets the connection. Also, there is no story in this game, it's a heavy multiplayer game. If you are looking for a meaningful story, I urge you to close your eyes to this game. What I hate about this game is that invading human territory and starting a fire makes it a chore, especially when you know which team is doing it to you. Repeating the same territory with the same damn turrets in the same area. In addition, the server needs to be optimized, especially during invasions with other clans and clan members, the game disables either players or other team members. There are also balance issues, there are certain things that need to be nerfed like USG Gatling guns, damn dragonflies and sniper rifles, and the things that need to be nerfed are regular rifles and pistols. especially pistols, . Shotguns should be softened a bit, but not by much. Neutral things in this game Clan wars are surreal, so if you join an organized clan, be prepared for some alliances and some big flights. I also wish the system of fighting for territories or defending made more sense sometimes, I understand why the system is the way it is, but sometimes I wish they could add more features, but it's more of a progressive step there , which is where I think the armored core line should evolve. The positive thing I like about this game is the customization, you have a lot of options and you really have to pay attention to the stats of each mech and when you start not buying parts that can specialize in everything and when you do it becomes yours Be choice, you need to level up your weapon and it may take up to 7 tries before your weapon deals enough damage and does what you want. Specialization. This may sound boring but I say it's a refreshing change, but that's just my opinion as it allows for experimentation and whatnot. Also lots of paint and art especially on your emblems and you can do. practically everything. you could say something .really? YES REALLY lots of bobbies and lolicons on furs now, surprised xbl hasn't thrown the whip at it yet. also an overloaded gun or hit or miss in the literal sense. So be wise when using it you will only fire a few shots and you won't be able to use the weapon again but you glow like a Super Saiyan so it's cool and it's an instant kill for any mech you use you meet. In short it's a fun game but has a learning curve and no story, long with buggy multiplayer but offers plenty of customization and strategy. This game gets a 7.5 from me. If you're still in doubt or unsure, I advise you to rent a few days in advance, play online, see what you think about it, give it a try when in doubt and don't be afraid to change something up could scare you.
