Review on Underwire Minimizer Lace Bra For Women With Full Coverage - Plus Size Delimira by Ellie Parra

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cup Shape is Completely Incorrect and Sizing is a bit off from Standard Euro/UK sizing

Ok, First of all, I gave these 3 stars. They are $20 bras. They give a cheap option for big chested women who may not have access or finances to get more expensive, more tailored bras. The size range on this brand is impressive and I'm glad to see that these are available. As far as fit, The breast will be rounder and flatter than in a more tailored bra. These bras are lacking tailoring that pushes the breast tissue from the sides to the more desirable front. Side breast tissue will remain to the side and this is what creates the 'minimizing' effect. The side tissue often gets pinched or bitten into if you have too small of a cup and often disregarded as fat when you go to a department store to be sized because they'll try to jam you into something they have in stock. Remember to scoop the side and gather that tissue forward and include it in your cup. Often your cup if you are large breasted should go below your arm pit. Sizing itself seems to run a tad small as I ordered a size up from my usual Euro/UK standard size and the gore (the center part of the bra) refused to lay flat against my sternum which is necessary for the lifted and separated look, that avoids the dreaded uni-boob/mono-boob. The underwire also wasn't able to be bent or shaped to contour to the body better. So, honestly I'm not sure if it was an actual wire. The band was comfortable. It was nice and stretchy. No irritating lace on the bottom edge to cut into you. The back clasp area was thick, and had three hook/eye closures. The shoulder straps have a bit of functional decoration that helps the slide to stay wear you put it.My overall opinion is that they aren't a suitable replacement for a more expensive, more tailored bra which honestly I was kind of hoping for. A gal can dream though. What they are suitable for is strapping your girls down when you don't care how they are looking. These aren't flattering. I'll probably be using the two I ordered when I'm gardening, working around the house or out and about on hot days doing errands and I don't want to get my good bras that sweaty.
