I bought these for my new Panasonic MC-CG917 cylinder vacuum cleaner. The vacuum came with a HEPA bag which filled up very quickly as my dogs shed hair all over the house. I looked up the cost of Panasonic's HEPA bags and couldn't believe they cost that much. I could also buy flimsy cotton bags but decided there was no point in buying a HEPA vacuum. Then I found these Crucial HEPA style bags. Note that they say "HEPA style", not just "HEPA". To be true HEPA bags, they must filter out at least 99.97% of 0.3 micron particles. Crucial says these bags filter out 99.7% of particles, so I'm guessing they're not true HEPA. Since they cost a lot less, I think I can live with a 0.27% difference. You can see the difference between Panasonic's original HEPA bag and this one. The Panasonic bag was much thicker. The bags are perfect for a vacuum and I love the Crucial clasp that keeps dust out of the bag when you need to replace it. I could see some of the fine dust flying out of the original Panasonic bag as I took it out of the basket.
