I made my decision based on the following rule: adaptability. I want them to play with the best sound possible whether linked from a TV, phone, etc. I spent a lot of time deciding between various active shelf acoustics, passive with various amplifiers, and 300,000 cheap models. Even if this is a solely musical story, passive ones for me personally lacked enough pressure. They do sing well and in detail, but sadly. There were many passive acoustic models, various amplifier types, and various active alternatives in various layouts. These were my favorites. Of course, playing mp3s on them through bluetooth would be blasphemous. These columns have a lot more to offer, therefore I will eventually expand this system a little. There is no hdmi-earc or remote control, however these are minor drawbacks. According to many, Klipsha is still produced by engineers rather than marketers, which accounts for the remote control's obvious decline in functionality and modernity.
