Great frying pan. I was quite skeptical about the strength of the handle before receiving it, but it appears to be made out of fairly thick metal and the rivets are solid. simple syrup, ghee. It can easily be used to warm up soups (etc.) for one person. The spout is a great feature considering most pots/pans and dryer measuring cups don't seem to have one. If only part of the liquid is poured out in something like this, then you get mush on the side. As others have mentioned, I would prefer a spout on both sides. Remember that the capacity of the pot is more than you can actually use - our 3 cups will hold 3 cups when filled to the brim. . This is normal for a mug, but don't rely on the cooker to take full advantage of it. Plan your purchase accordingly. The footprint is smaller than most small burners. Not a problem for us, but worth considering. I'd really like to make a lid for it, even one that could be bought separately.
