garbage lid!

GREAT IDEA! I used to have a smaller garbage table from another brand and this one works much better. I have 2 cats. My 25 pound cat easily fits through a 11" x 12" door and has enough room inside to roll over without crouching. I was ready to remove the drawer to give him more space but I was able to put the drawer in and he is very happy! I also ordered "1000-Count POOPS! Dog Litter Bags" which should last a few years! They are wide enough to scoop out clumps of droppings and debris every day and keep the box 'untraceable'. I have a Pet Studio in my living room that is very similar to my espresso furniture. This is a great table for lamps and home accessories. It's a full-featured win-win solution for both cat and human! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! SPECIAL NOTE: I read the reviews before purchasing and I understand those who are concerned about the wood getting wet as happened with the last brand I bought. I found a solution that really helps. Since the inner dimensions are larger than plastic table mats (which was my first idea), I just took one of my extra yoga mats and cut it to size. The spongy material of a yoga mat clings to the wood and stays in place, especially under the weight of a full kitty litter. I also lined the box with a piece of the same yoga mat. If you're worried about your cat splashing the sides of the interior, use double-sided tape and line the sides and back of the interior. They can be wiped or removed and washed. The texture of the yoga mat also makes it easy to sweep the floor when the sand is thrown out of the bowl.
