Lots going on here, not much good. They're so damn cheap. $10 seems like a steep price for that. For example, save your $10 and buy garlands at Walmart or something, they actually have decent ones. As other reviewers have said, the plug is substandard, looks and feels cheap, and doesn't fit well in an outlet. They smell like plastic when they're on, and my set had little bits of plastic hanging from the 'bulbs' when they were probably filled with resin or something? I don't know exactly, but if you buy them and want to use them after seeing how cheap they are, I'll take care of them like a kid. Don't leave them unattended for long periods of time etc. I wouldn't trust them not to start a fire. Also, Revane asked me to rate their remote control and timer function. So if the listing says it is included, be aware that kits will be shipped that do not contain what is advertised.
