Cons: Aleene glue is not the quick drying glue that others have claimed. I think that explains why the bottle doesn't say how long it takes to dry! And in some cases it does not dry out. I have spots on the project that still show white glue after drying for over 24 hours! It's sticky but doesn't hold things in place. I had to hold the string I'm gluing on until it dries a bit. This is very annoying! Advantages:. it is odorless. power glue. That's all. It's thick enough for my string project, but it's not a strong glue that will hold a string in place. The cord lies flat which means gravity can help - but not in this case! But I would buy it again because a consistent, albeit mediocre, adhesive is hard to come by. You just have to be patient with it.
