I have a collection of these pashmina shawls because I love them so much. I sent the very first letter I ever received from my sister who lives in Europe and was visiting us in Texas. It was the 80's here and in Bucharest the temperature was over 40 and I didn't have a jacket with me. I suggested she take a pashmina and she was skeptical that she would be comfortable. In response, she reported that it was so soft and light that she couldn't believe she was comfortable even in 40-30 degrees Fahrenheit for the short time she was outside. Now I bought this set of 4 to make 3 of these for a really light quilt and I have another color to add to my collection of matching colors for my clothes. I won't hesitate to give one as an impromptu gift for those who are cold. I wash them in cold water, in a laundry bag, with mild detergent, no fabric softener, and dry them for a few minutes, then hang them up to finish drying. They roll a little, but they don't roll a quarter as much as the cheap fleece fabrics that are so popular these days, and the tablets are easily removed with a pilling razor. For me a little rolling is not a problem as I get warm and beautiful colors that are usually only available on a product that costs a lot more than this item.
