This is advertised as "natural rubber" - it is NOT natural rubber; They are made of EPDM. EPDM is a tougher material, not very flexible. With a lot of effort, they only stretch a few centimeters. EPDM is fine if you want a band that will stand up to the sun and don't care if it stretches a lot. Natural rubber is more resistant to extreme weather conditions and has much more stretch. If you want toughness, get this. If you want natural rubber straps that are flexible and cold resistant, look elsewhere.
