Good but not great

Before this review let me say I am an ISDT addict and have several chargers and accessories that work great. Now specifically about this charger model; If you are new to liposuction this is sufficient, but for experienced users another model should be purchased. Why? 1) The charger doesn't have a "balance charge" mode, only "charge", which worries me when multiple batteries are connected. Even with the balance board, my lipo was being charged unevenly and incompletely. Had to use BattGo balancers on all my to align the cells, there was a 75mah imbalance between the 1st and 6th cell (6S Lipo) which is dangerous! 2) no DC input and not very "smart" as they are the largest and more expensive ISDT chargers. Features are limited and the lack of a DC input really limits what this charger can do. It's 200W AC for 2 channels, so 100W per channel, which isn't enough to fully charge multiple 6S devices3) at a price I expected a lot more. It seems very simple and not powerful enough despite its size and weight. I prefer the ISDT 608 model with a 200W+ power supply which together is cheaper than this D2.4) with no firmware upgrades? It does have a USB port, but I can't find any mention of firmware updates, so I doubt there ever will be. my other chargers. Mainly because I can't plug in the XT60's power supply, I find this charger very basic and less desirable than many chargers in this price range.

Pros
  • Dual outlet
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
