Great with one small caveat
I replaced the map light in our Hyundai Tucson. The color is great but they are not as bright as standard incandescent bulbs. The reason for this is that the light in lamps of this type spreads over a certain area and is not concentrated in the focus of the reflector. In any case, in this case the LED light is defocused and not as intense. So keep this in mind if you're looking to retrofit: if an existing structure uses a reflector, you may get less light, not more.
