I've attached photos, one of my switch, two of a newly purchased pro controller and the S1 parts causing the damage. More on that later. This is a great device. I rarely play in docked mode, but the Fixture S1 spared me the various gripes and shortcomings of the Joy Cons. I often catch myself not wanting to play in the coupe and just lying on the couch or bed. This makes it IDEAL for travel, especially on long flights. Are you visiting your family for a holiday and want to relax? Bring your Fixture S1 with you. Fixture Gaming solved the portability problem that Nintendo could have solved, but in a more cost-effective way. Imagine Nintendo creating something like this. Most likely you will pay $50+. And why would Nintendo do that? Do they know about Joy-Con Drift and just want you to buy a new pair for $80? $35 for this controller mount is a steal! As for the damage, the damage to the switch is minor, cosmetic, and doesn't bother me. Why? I rarely look at the back of a derailleur. However, I bought a $70 Pro controller the day before I wrote this review and the damage was done after uninstalling the Fixture S1 for the first time. Why is there damage? There really isn't much wiggle room between it and the controller. The controller is difficult to insert and difficult to remove, especially if you are a disabled gamer like me. You must do this VERY carefully. If there is another iteration, I hope Fixture Gaming introduces a slight separation between the mount and the pro controller so they can add some rubberized pads to protect the areas most prone to damage. Why FOUR STARS? Well, for me the pros outweigh the cons. The ability to have that efficiency in mobility and not have to worry about the Joy-Con drifting off is amazing.
