I've only had my MacBook Air for about 2 weeks and am having trouble finding a case that actually fits. I tried 2 cases suggested by Amazon to fit the a2179 model, but both had the same problem: one side could not be attached to the frame. And all cases look pretty much the same so I took a chance on this one and it fits perfectly, doesn't sag, snaps onto the top and bottom with no issues. The legs offer good height adjustment and the holes on the bottom should help dissipate heat from the laptop. The gray color is beautiful and even matches the leather bag I recently bought. If you have a 2020 MBA, model a2179, then this case will definitely fit with no issues. It doesn't seem to get scratched if you ever need to take it off, and it's actually quite easy and simple to take off. Just be careful not to use too much force as the plastic clips may break off. In general I recommend.
