So this antenna has an internal thread and the truck has an external thread, but they are not the same size. I was going to return it but figured for the price I'd see if I could make it work. I ended up cutting off the factory antenna about 1/4" above the threaded portion, drilled a hole and tapped it to fit this antenna. The radio still works and looks better than the original, but probably not worth installing .
