Tears alarmingly easily

I had high hopes for this product. The containers are very pretty and the different sizes are very practical. However, after the first wash and use, I noticed that there were shavings in several containers. The chips I found lying in the cupboard are very sharp bits that I use to scare the kids. I have had another brand of glassware for over a decade that has never cracked. I will be returning them and looking for more durable storage containers.

Pros

SAFE AND FRIENDLY: Unlike plastic, glass is environmentally friendly and contains no chemicals. Hot food can be poured directly into the containers since no chemicals get into the food. The lids are made from BPA-free plastic, making them a safe choice.
