I've used a Pop Socket brand bleed mount and honestly it sucks. My phone keeps falling on its side and it hurts a lot. So you can imagine I wasn't very optimistic when I got this mount. This mount has a button that you push in and then release after inserting it into the vent and pinching the vent. To my surprise, it's quite firm and won't budge. It also holds onto my popsocket, although it takes some force to pry the socket out of the mount. However, while driving in the last few days, I have noticed that my mobile phone no longer falls on its side. I tried a few tight turns in the empty parking lot and it stayed upright. Now that I've tried turning it sideways, it still works, but it stays upright when I stand it up. So for now I'm very satisfied and cautiously optimistic. The design is one of my favorite colors and my favorite animal is just the icing on the cake. And the price isn't bad, especially if, like me, you've spent more than you care to admit to finding a car phone mount that suits you.
