I am currently using this inverter in my 2015 Toyota Prius. That works great. I'm gearing up for hurricane season because last year (2017) we were without power for eight long days and I don't have to sleep again in this Florida heat with no air conditioning or a working refrigerator. I've tested this power converter with almost everything I plan to use during hurricane season except the fridge lol. Later I will unsubscribe whether it works or not. If not, I can get a "smart" UPS that will take care of the power coming from the converter. I highly recommend getting a USB powered fan to leave in your car. Why? because this device has a USB port that you can plug it into and it helps keep the inverter cool while it's working in your car with the windows closed in the middle of a hurricane. I even hooked up my gaming computer. (1000w power supply in pc) and left it on for 6 hours and it works fine!. Didn't even get warm thanks to the connected USB fan. I like the little remote that comes with it. Too bad I don't have a cable. My next step is to get an extension cord and test it to see if it works. I'll update when I have time.
