Review on πŸ”ͺ Uxcell 2-Inch Finger Router Cutting Tool by Brandon Skeet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great and here's a tip on how to get it right

I read that another reviewer was annoyed with bad results because they thought the bit wasn't made right. I just spent an hour testing the resulting bit and realized that if you're getting poor results, this could be your technique. The wrong way to use this bit is to set it once, skip the board, then flip the counter board and skip it. The profiles will not match exactly this way, even if the bit is perfectly centered. The teeth are not designed to align when flipping boards. Instead, set the router bit for the first board, then set the router bit's height exactly to 1/8" and skip the second board (in either case, the desired faces should be facing down on the router table. The profiles will fit snugly together ). . Why? Since the tooth spacing is exactly 1/4 inch and no matter where you place the drill the first time, you will need to drill through the second board with the drill bit offset by half. All you have to do is look at the adjustment ring on your router (most have fine adjustments). Have fun!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
