Review on 👡 Teva Women's Medium Leather Sandals - Women's Shoes by Chris Lentz

If this was my first pair of Teva's I probably would have given a higher rating. But I have old sandals that are so much better I can't get them higher than 3. Maybe people will like these sandals - maybe what I'm looking for isn't what others want. They fit as expected and are comfortable to wear. That's where they fall short compared to my old pair. 1) My old pair had some velcro for adjustment, but they also had a zipper. ankle straps. Anyone who has had much experience with Velcro knows that opening and closing it constantly wears it out. On an old pair, I was able to adjust them once and then use the latch to take them on and off. I have to use velcro on a new pair every time and I suspect this will greatly reduce their lifespan. 2) My old pair provided much better arch support. The new paid give very little, and if I stand or walk a lot during the day, by the end of the day my arches start to hurt. 3) My old pair had a very comfortable soft suede sole. . It was very comfortable and offered a good pillow. I don't know what the soles of the new pair are made of. It can be matte rubber or thin synthetic fabric. It's ok but nowhere near as good as my old pair which are now worn out. However, the old pair is still much softer than the new one. 4) Overall the old pair provided much better support for my foot. They just seemed so much stronger. So if this is your first pair of Tevas, you might like them. If you don't plan on wearing them standing and walking all day, you might like them. If you're used to wearing cheap shoes that don't offer good support, you might like these. However, if you are looking for hiking sandals that offer good arch and foot support, you may be disappointed. There is simply no comparison between what Teva is doing today and what they used to do.
