This review is about the GH5 kit + Leica 12-60mm lens from Focus Camera. Focus Camera shipped this kit quickly and it arrived 2 days later via Revain Prime in good condition. Panasonic LUMIX GH5 4K Mirrorless Camera with 12-60mm Lecia Lens (DC-GH5LK) with 64GB UHS-II + VideoMic Go + Havana Bag 64GB Class 10 U3 SDXC UHS-II Card, Camera Case, Røde Microphone, Two additional batteries (not branded) and charger in addition to the Panasonic battery and charger. I think this was the first time I bought one of those package deals where everything is useful and not cheap junk. The price of $2,598 was a significant discount compared to buying it individually. There are many reviews about the GH5 camera and the Lecia 12-60mm (DC-GH5LK), so I won't do a detailed review. However, I'll confirm what the reviews say: the GH5 itself is in a class when it comes to features. It is capable of streaming professional broadcast quality 4K 30P 10bit 4.2.2 at 150Mbps directly to the built-in Class V-90 SD card. You can also record All-Intra at 400Mbps with V-Log files directly to the onboard V-90 class SD card. For 4K 60P action, an 8-bit recording can be recorded to the SD card in the camera. External recording options are also available. The Lecia 12-60mm lens (DC-GH5LK) is very sharp and the zoom range covers pretty much everything I shoot. The dual stabilization is just amazing. The GH5 is not a camera for beginners. This is a serious camera for professionals and prosumers alike. If you're a serious photographer who wants to shoot both video and stills and are willing to go through the learning curve, this camera couldn't be better. Some reviewers named it the DSLR of 2017.
