To be honest I was very hesitant to buy this item because as a mom I used to cringe at the thought of sand in the house lol. I was looking for something for my son's birthday and I wanted something that could hold his attention for more than a few minutes. What can I say, I'm so glad I bought it! The sand is soft and viscous, making it easy to shape. It slides easily out of molds and doesn't stick to hands or surfaces. I even found small lumps on the carpet and just bent down and picked it up and put it back in the bathtub (this item is not included with this inflatable bathtub, I bought it separately). Another thing I love about this sand is that it NEVER dries out and stays wet all the time. It's so much fun for kids and adults. It's virtually trouble free. Two thumbs up!
