Didn't work for me for accessories and consumables. Compatibility
I had a 10 foot DisplayPort male/male cable and a <6 foot Display to DVI cable and wanted this adapter use for his connections. all together. Both cables will work with that monitor and computer, but using either cable with this adapter will not work. So if 16 feet isn't over a necessary threshold, I don't think this adapter is worth anything. Serves me right if I try to use this instead of buying a new 10" Display Port to DVI cable.
