Review on ๐ŸŽจ Fabric Samples for Graywind Zebra Blind Roller Shades, Blinds, and Curtains by Kathleen Good

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Faulty original engine, but the company is doing everything possible to fix it.

Update: After contacting Greywinds, they called me directly to resolve the pairing issue. It turns out that the remote control is defective. They said they would send a new motor and remote control. They arrived today but sent a wireless version (not the wired version I originally bought). They said if I wanted to keep this version I would have to buy a smart bridge and they would refund the amount I paid for this product. Also, they would send a solar panel to make up for the difference in charging compared to my original wired version. They're really trying to get it right, which I really appreciate. We just have a series of unpleasant events. Will update when the solar panel arrives and I install this new motor. Not only did I have to remove the thing from its cradle three times to find the reset button, after an hour of repeated attempts to pair the remote I finally gave up. Yes, my pathetic anger and desire to bang my head against the wall turned to tears filled with 45 minutes of repeated attempts at the same or the pairing options specified in the instructions. Finally, I threw the towel onto the console. As a last try, I tried skipping the remote and using the app. praise the sky! IT WORKS OUT! My tears of disappointment turned to tears of joy! Connecting to my Alexa was easy. One problem is that without the remote I can't adjust the height as shown in the picture. Video, below are clots. This is because the winding mechanism has moved back slightly. It doesn't hang completely straight, even with the shade attached straight. Talk about disappointment in a $350 purchase! Come on, gray winds! So, I have a broken remote control, a non-standard fitted curtain on a roll and 3 hours of my life is gone. Yes, it was the worst experience I have ever had with an Amazon product.
