We've had Helly Hansen for the last 2 years for our 4 year old and they've been better for the following reasons: 1. Seemed warmer/insulated better2. The padding on the north wall is removable, which might be better for an older kid, but at this size/age it's just annoying Helly Hansen was also about the same price. This year we just couldn't find the right size. Will definitely be returning to HH next year via North Face.
