For some reason I like to have Taster's Choice coffee around since my father passed away a few years ago. I don't have many good memories, but one of the few I do have is drinking Taster's Choice coffee with him, because typically when I visited him I really needed a cup of coffee, and this is what he had, and it was drinkable.So, this kettle gives me a super easy way to heat water to a point where it dissolves all the instant coffee crystals immediately (the key to good instant coffee next to using the correct amount). It takes about six or seven minutes for this kettle to get the water from cold, out of the fridge water dispense, to boiling. The kettle shuts off when the water starts to boil. I measured the temperature of the water coming out of the spout about a minute after the kettle shut off, and it was 204 degrees.No complicated controls or multiple buttons here. Just something that brings water to a boil when you turn it on and then shuts off. Pouring is easy to control, and the handle for the top lid gets warm but not too hot to handle. This is exactly what I wanted in an electric tea kettle. Nice work.
